Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your ZenExpenses subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees, no lock-in, and no hoops to jump through.
How cancellation works
When you cancel, your account remains fully active and functional through the end of your current billing period. You've paid for that time — you keep every feature until it runs out.
At the end of the billing period, your account automatically converts to the free tier. No further charges are made. Your data is preserved and you can continue using ZenExpenses at no cost.
How to cancel
You can cancel directly from your account settings, or email us at [email protected] and we'll handle it for you within one business day.
What happens to your data
- Your transactions, categories, tags, and rules are all preserved after cancellation.
- You can export everything to CSV or Excel at any time — before or after cancelling.
- Nothing is deleted when you move to the free tier.
- If you decide to resubscribe later, everything is right where you left it.
Not satisfied? We'll refund you
If you want to cancel because you're unhappy with ZenExpenses, we'd rather make it right. See our Refund Policy — if you're not satisfied at any point, we'll refund the current month's charge and let your account run through the end of the period before switching to the free tier.
