Monthly budgets
Set a monthly budget for each category and follow your progress as spending comes in. ZenExpenses shows what is left to spend and gives you a heads-up before you overshoot, so you always know where you stand before the month is out.
Subcategories
Break broad categories into subcategories, so groceries can split into food, household, and treats. You decide the level of detail, and a single transaction can be divided across several subcategories.
Spending heatmaps
A calendar heatmap paints your heavy spending days in colour, so the weekends, paydays, and one-off splurges jump out at a glance and patterns are easy to spot.
Custom rules for merchant names
Clean up cryptic bank descriptions by setting your own display name for a merchant. Write the rule once and every past and future transaction from that merchant is renamed automatically.
